DuraTherm is available as a comprehensive range of Fire Retardant High Density Polyurethane Foam based Cold & Cryogenic Pipe Supports. These Supports conform to operational use from +120 Degrees Celsius down to -196 Degrees Celsius and very high loads requirements. DuraTherm Pipe Supports cover the widest range of Pipe Sizes and are built to International Codes & Standards.

Whereas the Polyurethane Chemicals are custom formulated to meet the stringent property requirements of Thermal Conductivity & Compressive Strength as well as other requirements of the customer application. All DuraTherm PU Shells are invariably custom moulded with integral skin intact.
LINE STOP TYPE CRYOGENIC PIPE SUPPORT

Material for metal protection jacket shall be Aluminised Steel or Aluminium 0.5.

Pipe shoes with fire proof insulation shall have a stainless steel protection jacket material to ASTM A167 Type 304.

Ensure the protective steel jacket is fitted evenly allowing a 50mm overlap both ends, this will then protect the Foil vapour barrier from damage.

BELLEVILLE SPRINGS
Cryogenic clamp bolts to be supplied with Belleville springs from 50CrV4, mechanically galvanized to ASTM B695 CLASS 50. The size, quantity and configuration of the springs shall be chosen to ensure that an adequate clamping force is maintained after thermal contraction, so that slippage between pipe and PUF or between the PUF, jacket and steel cradle does not occur.
Low Density Glass Fiber Blanket / Foam
A gap between the upper and lower segments of PUF allows for shrinkage, this gap is fitted with Resilient fibre blanked allowing the PUF to contract, likewise when the pipe returns to ambient temperature, the assembly will revert to original condition, The Resilient blanket will expand and disc springs will contract as the pipe increases in temperature.
